Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little petite princess is Winnie, and Winnie would love to know what it feels like to be loved by a good family. Winnie is just a year old and had a pretty tough first year of her life. She was dropped off at a shelter in the south by a backyard breeder when he had no use for her and her three beagle friends. Luckily the little group made their way up to us at Popcorn Park and they are all safe and cared for now. Winnie is a shy little lady that has not had much human interaction. When you go to see her, she is usually curled up in a little ball and she will try to hide her head with her tail. Once you gently pet her, she realizes that you're okay and relaxes. Winnie really does love people, but she is just afraid to show it. If you are petting one of her beagle friends, she will sneak up and sniff you, wagging her tail and smiling all the while, but once you acknowledge her, she becomes shy again. When Winnie goes out for a walk, she really relaxes. She will check out the world around her and enjoy herself, and will even seek out attention. She just needs a loving and patient family that will give her time to settle in. Winnie loves other dogs and would do great in a quiet home. This little girl is hoping to start her young life over again with good, kind people that will love her forever. File#23213 1/4/14
