Heather's Story...
Heather and her siblings, Nickles, Bleu and Sterling, were dumped at a Magicats foster home when they were about 11 weeks old. Born in late August, they are now in the last stages of preparation for adoption to their purr-fect FOREVER homes. Heather is a pale gray color point tabby, suggesting some Siamese in her family tree. Her coat is short and soft, and she is a very feminine. Heather would be a great first pet for a responsible young person, or a good family pet or companion for someone who would just like to enjoy a kitten. She has met some small friendly older dogs and enjoyed a couple of very young elementary age, gentle girls. Heather has had her first shots and is negative for FIV/FELV and will be finishing her medical work and surgery in mid-January after which she will be meeting her public at Twin Falls PetSmart. Offered as an INSIDE ONLY pet, you can get more information by email or call our local volunteer at 208-543-6193.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heather, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
