Vicky's Story...
Vicky is a very sweet and friendly girl. Taking pictures proved to be too much for her, since she wanted to sit in our lap and give kisses instead of run around and pose. When she isn't content about lounging in laps, she does do a little exploring; though, the horses seemed a little scary to her.

Like most puppies, she will chew anything that will fit in her mouth, but plenty of toys and chewies should keep her mind occupied. She's about 12 weeks old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vicky, a Ocala Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ocala, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Ocala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocala paves the way for another one to be saved.
