Cocoa's Story...
Cocoa is a 5 year old female Chihuahua/Pug mix that weighs about 13 pounds. She likes to play with her toys, chew on bones, and will play fetch but is protective of her things. She likes to have her own little cave or crate to go into. It seems to make her feel safe. She likes to go for walks, craves attention, and loves to be petted and loves car rides. It takes her a few days to warm up but once she trusts you she can be very sweet. She will be a great dog for someone home a lot looking for a companion dog as long as they can be patient and give her time to get comfortable. No young kids. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption/donation fee is $175.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Oviedo Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Oviedo, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Oviedo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oviedo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oviedo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oviedo paves the way for another one to be saved.
