Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Amaya, a stunning young1-2 year old we rescued from the Manhattan ACC who is a sweet petite 33 pounds. Amaya is being fostered on long island NY and is doing wonderfully. She is housetrained, knows sit and down and has wonderful indoor manners- she doesn't chew on anything that doesn't belong to her and is very mellow and low key. Amaya is a very easy dog. She walks well on leash. Amaya is great with other dogs, but unfortunately has a high prey drive and is not good with cats. Amaya is sensitive, affectionate with those she knows and loves, and listens very well to corrections. Amaya has really fallen in love with her canine foster siblings, so we feel she would be happiest with another playful friendly dog. She is coming out of her shell more and more each day, and is playful, fun loving, and sweet. She very rarely barks and sleeps well through the night. If you are looking for a smaller, easy going loving girl, please consider Amaya. She is a phenomenal dog! Adoptions@GimmeShelterAnimalRescue.org
