Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nugget is a gorgeous Black Lab mix (she could actually be purebred Black Lab from the looks of it) pup who is only just now right around 8 weeks old. She and three other pups from her litter were brought to a shelter as "strays." We are so privileged to have been able to rescue them all.
Nugget is the second largest in the litter and the first to find her way to people for attention so is most likely the most dominant. But that is not to say she's truly dominant - all of these pups are sweet and easy-going.
The pups still need to be altered but we are accepting applications now. Please go to our website - throwmeabondedogrescue.org - and click on "Adoption Process" to read on what to expect and to complete and submit the application if you would like to be considered to adopt Niblet or one of her litter mates.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - and is found under "Resources." Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
