Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fred and another dog got their rescuer’s attention when she saw them caged in a
small enclosure in the freezing cold, lacking food and water, standing in their own
waste--and with precious little shelter from the elements. They were not in good
condition, and when they were fed, the food was dropped from a window into the
gateless enclosure. After a period of Herculean effort, the dogs were rescued.
Things are looking up!
Fred is a sweet, friendly dog, but is raw material at this point. Fred is getting
adjusted to the world outside his enclosure so he’s a bit shy and timid but warming
up quickly. Considering his background, that is perfectly understandable.
What Fred does have is great potential! Although Fred has had a miserable life, with a little love, affection and understanding, he will buff up to be a fantastic companion dog!
