Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a young JRT mix that was released to the shelter. He is 1-2 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. Buddy is absolutely adorable and has a good amount of energy, appropriate for his breed. He loves to run and fetch and will spend hours bringing toys and balls back to you. He also loves to play with other dogs and enjoys running in the play yard with one of our younger pit mixes, so Buddy is not a shy guy. If you're looking for a friend and fun companion, Buddy is the right dog for you. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please fill out an Adoption Screening Form

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Trenton Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
