Hey, y’all! Jax here! I was picked up by the shelter as a stray. No tags, no chip, no one to claim me. It’s hard to believe since I am such a sweet boy. I adore everyone I meet and don’t mind the other dogs here. They keep teasing me that my Mom may have been a Jack Russell, but my Daddy was a coyote. Why, what’s up with my ears?

I’m a young boy – only a year or two old. I was just tutored and vetted and, unfortunately, they discovered I am heartworm positive. I am in the early stages, though, so we are going to try a natural kill. I could use a foster in the Atlanta area during my treatment and will be available for adoption after I have finished them.
