I am the sweetest baby around. I love attention.

I love to get attention from those that I love.

I am good with other dogs cats and children.

I was found as a stray and no one came to claim me which is amazing because I am such a little sweetie!!

I will come (Spayed, current on vaccines, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, monthly flea and tick prevented, dental if recommended by our vet, a Complimentary vet visit and Optional low cost medical insurance which is highly recommended by our rescue. What more could a new family ask for?

I am ready to go home now. If you are already in love with me you have the option of reserving/pre adopting after your application has been approved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinker, a Oswego Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
