Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Maggie May and Maddie May
GENDER: Both are Female
AGE: Both are 8 years old
WEIGHT: Maddie is 8 lbs, Maggie is 4 lbs
DOGS/CATS: Good with other small dogs, Unknown with cats
CHILDREN: Nervous around children, would be better in an all adult, calm home
Maggie May and Maddie May are adorable 8 year old sisters. They are joyful little dogs, but their hearts are breaking because there human Mommy just passed away. CRT has taken them into our care with the promise to their Mommy that we will find these beautiful girls a wonderful home where they can live happily together for the rest of their lives until they join her across the rainbow bridge.
Both of these dogs have beautiful chocolate brown and tan markings. Maddie May is the larger of the two at 8 pounds. Her role in the family is to the be "protective older sister"! She is always taking care of her sister Maggie! Maggie May is the smaller of the two. She is about 4 pounds.
These two little girls lived in an calmer home. They are low maintainance, and very loveable. Maddie and Maggie are shy, but sweet. They have not been around children much and seem very nervous around children. For this reason, we think they would do much better in a low key, all adult home.
Both of the little girls are very smart. They are potty trained and peepad trained. Right now they are a little confused about what has happened to them, and why they are not in their familiar home. So a new adopter will want to be patient as they settle into a new home and a new routine.
These two little girls need to be adopted together. They have grown up together, and feel comfortable together. We know there is a perfect family out there with alot of love in their hearts, and are willing to love big, and be loved back. If that is you - please consider adopting these wonderful sisters.
Maggie May and Maddie May are spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. They are ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
These dogs are CRT rescues. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200
adoption fee for each dog ($400 total) is required.
After filling out an adoption application, please email ApplicationCoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com if you are interested in this dog. Please be sure to read about our adoption process and then fill out an adoption application before emailing the contact person.
