My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These babies have come from a private home and were an unexpected litter. Becca, the mother looked like a miniature Golden Retriever and the dad, a neighbour's dog, is a purebred Sheltie. These pups are intelligent and people oriented. They are quiet and very attentive. It is obvious that they are going to be very easy to train and wonderful family pets. They were born on November 23, 2014 and are currently just over 7 weeks old.


It is hard to tell what their coats will be like as adults. The mom, a very sweet natured dog, was about 40 lbs with wavy hair. Her family said she is the sweetest dog they have ever had and was extremely gentle and loving with their young children. The Sheltie dad we don't really know, and didn't have the opportunity to meet him, but were told he weighed about 35 lbs. We are guessing the pups will be somewhere between 35 - 45 lbs as adults.


It is really hard to tell the pups apart. They are all females and are tri-coloured. The only real difference is that two have more of a red in their colouring while the others are more blonde.


These pups are going to be intelligent, easy to train and very people oriented. They will need a family that has the time and the willingness to make the commitment to their care and to helping them become respected family companions. They are well socialized with people including young children and are great with other animals including cats. They are currently being crate trained and learning to do their business outside. They have their first set of vaccinations, have been dewormed and given a healthy vet check. They will come with a supply of their current food to get you started.
