Simba's Story...
Simba is a 14 pound, 1 1/2 to 2 year old Maine Coone cat. He was rescued from a Warehouse Market where someone contacted our rescue and told us that the manager of the store had commented that if the cat tried to get in the doors one more time he was going to kick him in the head! We immediately went and took Simba out of that situation. He isn't a big fan of being kept in a crate but he has adjusted. We have attempted to find his family but no luck. Simba is now available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Tulsa Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tulsa, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Tulsa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tulsa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tulsa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tulsa paves the way for another one to be saved.
