My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Freeway was found by an kindly woman while trying to pull her puppies, one by one, from a busy highway. She would take one, by the scruff of the neck, to the side of the road, then run out to get the next. But the puppies didn't know the danger this little family was in and kept running into the traffic, that barely hit the brakes to avoid them. One, sadly, was killed.

Freeway was a very intuitive Momma, but now will be spayed to live a life of leisure again. Freeway gets along well with other dogs and children. While living on her own had her afraid of people for awhile, her wonderful foster family has worked miracles with her!! She is now a well-adapted, social gal who walks well on the leash.
