Chacho's Story...
I’m Chacho! Am I cute or what? I’m a Pug/Chihuahua mix, how about that! I’m a fun little dude that’s housebroken, and I know a few tricks too! I’m a little weary of strangers for a minute or two, but show me your sweet side and I’ll show you mine! I love to sit in laps, and I get along with other dogs…cats too! I would love to go on walks, maybe go to the park too, but if you’re just in the mood to hang out and watch a movie or read I’ll cuddle up with you and chill out for a while. Since new situations make me a bit nervous, a home with children over five would probably be best, but I have lived with children in the past and we got along just fine! I need a family, do you need a companion? 1 _ years old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter rebate, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), 1month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chacho, a Portland Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
