Kane's Story...
Kane is a very sweet boy who loves everyone he meets! He has excellent manners inside the home. He will "sit" on command. If you tell him "down', he turns over for belly rubs! Not exactly what we were expecting but that's okay. He gets along with other dogs and enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood. Kane will be happy to "hang out" around the house with you or curl up next to you watching television. He is a very affectionate dog that will make an excellent addition to any family. Kane's estimated birthday is October 2009 and he currently weighs sixty-five pounds. Come take him for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on weekends 12-4:30 and see if he is a match for your family. You can also contact his foster Mom at genie9034@yahoo.com for further questions or to set up a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Humble Husky/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Great Pyrenees for sale in Humble, or seeking a Husky/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Husky/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
