GINGER's Story...
This sweet, beautiful pup arrived on January 18th weighing in at 8 pounds. She is a cuddle-bug who prefers snuggling to being alone. She does very well at night in her crate though. She cried a little on her first night then settled down and slept till 7am. No crying on her second night. She is listed by the vet as a 12 week old dog, so it is hard to judge breed. She is so small.

During the day she prefers company and explores a little on her own just to run back and snuggle up. Today she explored a little further and a little longer. She likes to see me and was very cute this morning when I was hiding behind the door. She barked, knowing I was hiding, when I came out, then she smiles and wiggles in excitement. She is adorable! She seems very smart. On her first day, she already figured out where the door is and whenever I take her out, she does her business and runs back without any guidance even after I took her to a different spot in the front yard. She found her way back right away!

UPDATE: Ginger eats and drinks well and gets along very well with my big dog, my little dog and my 5 year old. She comes when you call her and she likes to play with soft toys. She likes to wiggle on the floor and stretch her legs flat on the floor when you come to pet her. She loves to cuddle when you pick her up, she just melts in your arms and let you hold her for as long as you want, but when you put her down to play, she is easily enticed! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue.
