Poppy **DECLAWED**'s Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Poppy **DECLAWED**'s Story...
Poppy is a declawed adult female (approximately 3 years old), but she's fun-sized! She's much smaller than a typical adult female and has a short and stubby tail. Don't be fooled by her kitten-like size though, because she acts like a seasoned pro: calm and collected, even in the face of an annoyed peer! She is extroverted, and is usually looking for someone to snuggle or play with. She is playful, but doesn't have the chaotic energy she may have had as a kitten. She seems to have had a previous owner because she is very trusting of humans, and agreeable to things like being temporarily confined (she feels very sure that you'll be coming back to get her, so she doesn't put up much of a fight)! She's perfectly litter-box trained, and will even share with other cats. Even-tempered and affectionate, Poppy would make a fantastic addition to any home whether it have cats, dogs, children, or just adult humans. Poppy is up to date on vaccines, declawed in front, spayed, FELV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Poppy is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different places. Please email for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poppy **DECLAWED**, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
