Ashes's Story...
Hi there. My name is Ashes and I am the cutest kitten you've ever seen. I came to VPAS when I was only 3 days old because my mother was not producing enough milk to feed me properly. One of the VPAS volunteers took me home and bottle fed me until I was big enough to eat on my own. Because I was in foster care at such a young age I love people and am a real cuddler. I am still a kitten so I have a lot of energy and I really like to play, but I also love to snuggle and to purr. I am comfortable with dogs and with other cats but would be Ok in a home without other pets too (because I am very people oriented.) I should not go to a home with young children at this time because I am very small and need to be handled gently. For more information about me please contact VPAS at vpas@wormers.com or come to visit me at VPAS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashes, a Saanichton Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
