My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver is such great companion! The sweetest dog ever who just wants nothing but your love and to return it! He a cuddle bug and loves a good belly rub and forgets he is not a lap dog but will crawl up on it anyway. He has ALOT of energy and loves to run and run around the house, he sometimes get so excited that he has to take a minute to take a deep breath. He would love a home with a big backyard and people who have the time to tire him out! He is house trained and will definitely let you know when its time for him to do his business!
Oliver is a young dog approximately 2 - 3 years old and although he is 60 lbs, he definitely needs to lose weight.

Here is what else his foster family had to say:

Oliver is friendly with everyone! He loves going for walks and is very curious about his new environment. He is quiet in the home unless he is trying to tell you something (food, water, pee, poop, etc). Oliver has very good manners in the home.

He is very well house trained. It is obvious he is VERY uncomfortable with having accidents in the house and will cry and cry until he is let out. He knows his basic commands such as sit, down, stay, lay down. He is crate trained although you probably would never need to crate him. He will go into the crate if needed and has been left for a couple hours. He will need some work with his leash training as he is very curious and will pull. He is curious so sometimes tries to go out the door, but has not run away or anything. He is great in the car!

Oliver is such a friendly dog and a cuddler, you cant help but fall in love with him. He would be perfect with a family or younger couple with a fenced in backyard!

If you would like to make Oliver part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.

Thanks go out to Zoe Panek for sponsoring Oliver and saving his life on behalf of her teacher Mlle Kathy Takeuchi.
