My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiloh is a very handsome, sweet and friendly 3 yr old Golden/Lab mix. He is overall a pretty mellow guy, following his foster parents around the house and taking naps near them. He has free access to the house and has not shown interest in getting into anything he should not be and he is house trained. Shiloh sleeps in the bedroom with his foster parents on a dog bed.

Shiloh loves going for walks and generally responds well to pressure and with a little consistent practice, he could be a fabulous leash dog and maybe even a good jogging companion. He is a smart guy and on his second walk around the neighborhood he stopped and turned onto the driveway of his foster house without being told which one was his. Shiloh stands politely for his feet to be wiped clean.

Shiloh takes treats very politely and likes to chew nylabones and treat filled kongs. He was neutered on 1/10 and when rough housing will display mounting behavior, however I would expect that to diminish in the next month. He loves being pet softly on his face and will almost fall asleep sitting there!

Shiloh has previously lived with another dog, a cat and kids and has apparently done well with them, although we have not had an opportunity to try him out in those situations. I suspect he might like having another dog to play with in his forever home.
