Oliver's Story...
Oliver is part of an adorable litter of Aussie/Heeler mix puppies. Just look at the look in his eyes, he is thinking of his new forever home! He is currently 6 weeks old and has received his first shots. He is a tiny baby. We believes he will be a small/medium sized dog when grown. He loves people and is very friendly. He also gets along well with other dogs and would be great with a family who has gentle children. Before adoption, he will receive 2 rounds of puppy shots and a health exam. We also use Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. If interested, contact Include a phone number and someone will call you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Glastonbury Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
