My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On 01/12/13 O.F.C.R. received a call that two cats had been trapped during an attempt to catch kittens at a cat colony. One kitten was caught and this guy was too. He was severely injured. The back of his ear had a very large open wound and was very swollen. His left front leg was also swollen to at least twice the size of his other leg and was very HOT to the touch. He was covered in abscessed bite marks. Yet in all that pain, this boy was still friendly as ever. We were able to give him medications without incident. He maintained a stable demeanor through all his treatments, included the cleaning of the open wounds. BlackJack test NEGATIVE for feline Leukemia and FIV. He's neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

** UPDATE: 01/20/2013 BlackJack is doing amazing now! He's healing up and according to his foster mom, he's a big talker and always greets her with some meows! And he still always wants to snuggle and play! BlackJack gets along great with other cats and doesn't mind dogs. They don't come much better than BlackJack- he's great with other pets, kids, and would also be a great companion for someone looking for a snuggle buddy and friend!
