POT ROAST M/4MOS/25#. Devoted, Gentle, Tenacious, Friendly, Sweet-Tempered, Affectionate. Extremely food motivated and easy to train. The Basset Hound has a keen sense of smell and will follow his nose. Despite a deliberate, unhurried manner and captivatingly clownish demeanor, the Basset Hound possesses great intelligence and what may often be viewed as stubbornness may more appropriately be attributed to an innate ingenuity often getting his way and a treat. Low to the ground, but large and hefty. Daily exercise is a must to keep at a healthy weight.
Broncos and Mutts are a lot alike. Both: Want to win. Like catching the ball. Like playing at home or away. Like playing outside. Have courage and strength. Try hard to please the fans. Are smart and good looking. Have great cheerleading teams. Like bowls. And both NEVER GIVE UP.

Each week MuttSavers rescues pups and young dogs from shelters that are forced to put animals to sleep every day because of limited space and resources.
