Here's what the humans have to say about me:
URGENT HELP NEEDED! Snoopy is looking for a foster. Temporary. The owner does not want to surrender Snoopy but does need time to find a place for him and Snoopy to live. If you can help with fostering even 2 days this would be awesome for Snoopy and his owner. YOU would help another dog from being surrendered and forced to leave it's owner. Please read this letter:
ABOUT SNOOPY:
1. Snoopy is a very playful and energetic puppy. He is quite the big boy and is full of love! He will be a year old in February. He grew up with a younger brother and older sister that he loved to play with- from tug of war to just running. He is high energy at times, like most puppies, but also loves to cuddle. Snoopy is crate trained and will bark to let you know when he needs to go out. Knows basic commands, but can become to excited to remember them from time to time.
2. Snoopy has never bitten anyone or any other animals. Has never interacted with cats so I cannot say whether or not he is friendly with them.
3. Snoopy has no medical history problems or issues. He has been seen by a vet and is up to date on shots, but has not been neutered yet.
"My nephew, Roy, is the owner of Snoopy. They were living with his grandmother who just passed away. He had to move out as a result and has been house hopping for the last week. Most of our family, and his friends, do not have dog friendly houses so it has been difficult. He was supposed to be getting a dog friendly apartment with his girlfriend when her lease was up in the Spring, which is why he was staying at his grandmothers house. He was not planning on surrendering Snoopy, but with the current situation he feels there isn't many options, other than staying in the car.
He is from Newton, MA. I have helped him find a foster home for the next couple of days. If need be, I am hoping from all of the networking people have done today that we might be able to find him another foster home for a few more days after that.
Thank you so much for getting back to us so quickly."
-Melissa M. (Aunt of the owner Roy)
