My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is Adopted

Dixie is currently fostered in Penn PA, and her adoption fee/donation is $75

Dixie is a sweet red and white 9 yr old female cocker spaniel.
She came to our rescue after her owner unexpectedly passed away.

Dixie is a special needs girl, as you can see her left eye had to be removed due to glaucoma.
She certainly doesnt let that hinder her though, she gets around quite well, and is able to do anything that a dog with both eyes can do.

Dixie is a great senior gal, she is on the smaller side for a cocker, and she has been well cared for by her previous owner.
She is house trained, and gets along well with other dogs, and even cats. She is so very sweet, please dont overlook her because of her age and disability.

Dixie would make a fantastic companion for an older couple, she is actually very low key, and doesnt ask for much.
She only needs food/water, a place to go out and potty, a warm bed to sleep in, and an owner to love on.

Dixie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
