Declan's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Declan's Story...
This gorgeous pup is Declan a 4 month old male Catahoula/Lab mix. We rescued Declan and his siblings when they were dumped at a kill shelter in South Carolina. Now vetted and old enough to find his forever home, Declan is looking for a family to love him forever. Declan is the largest of his siblings, about 26 pounds now, and will probably become a larger adult dog. He is obviously going to need training and housebreaking, as he is only a baby. Declan is the most reserved and low energy of his litter mates. If you are interested in Declan, please contact GSAR!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Declan, a Sagaponack Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
