Cece's Story...
If you are looking for a lap cat that has tremendous love to give you, Cece is the one! Her present caretaker is looking for a good home for Cece, a lovable adorable, house cat who is a real lap cat! Her neighbor was unable to care for Cece any longer and left her locked in a garage and then just outside and a wonderful neighbor has been taking care of her for about a month and a half (after she was almost hit by a car). Unfortunately they cannot keep her since their dog will not accept her into “his” home. Cece who is very petite is approximately 2 1/2 - 3 years young.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cece, a Cranston American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Cranston, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
