Meet Cody- A Curious Kitty With A Thirst For Life!

Cody is a 5 year old boy who will charm you with his good looks- check out his polytoe front paws!, and will reel you in with his 'purr'fectly sweet nature and desire to connect with that special person. Cody was surrendered to our shelter, along with his brother Chris (also a good looking polytoe fella!) when he was just a tiny kitten- the result of having an unspayed animal in the home and the age old dilemma of too many pets. He has spent time in a phenomenal foster home, where he was exposed to dogs, cats, and young kids...now he is here for a little extra exposure and his time in the spotlight!

Cody is a shyer boy who needs a family that will let him warm up at his own pace to a new environment. He prefers to take in his surroundings before feeling comfortable joining in with any activities or mingling with different faces. It doesn't mean that he wants nothing to do with people- quite the opposite, as he truly enjoys affection and love. But he is a boy who simply can't be rushed- he needs to feel confident to make that first move. A 'purr'fect home for him would be one with an empty nester or a retired couple, who are home often and can offer Cody lots of petting and conversations throughout the day.
