My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ewing is as sweet as he is handsome. He is solid white with a freckled belly. He wants nothing more than to be loved and give you all of his kisses. He is playful, but so gentle in his play. He would make a great family member and could fit nicely into just about any committed home.

Ewing was found sitting at an apartment complex on a frigid day, as if he was waiting for his owners to return. Sadly, when we contacted them via his microchip, we found that his owners had moved and left him behind. And this was not the first time; his microchip revealed he had a 1st owner that did the same. Both times he was adopted from a Georgia county shelter where adoptions have to be hasty due to limited space and mandatory euthanasia for space. It is not this poor dog's fault that he's had bad luck twice now.

It is SO important for us to find Ewing his FOREVER home this time, as this wonderful dog has been betrayed by human owners many times now! This dog is a true lovebug and so eager to please.

Weight: 50-55 lbs

Temperament: Gentle 'giant' that gets along with kids and dogs; can be cat-tested on request

Training: Housetrained; knows 'sit'; very eager to please.

Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative
