My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you have been looking for a wonderful German Shepherd, then here is the dog for you. AVIS is a male, German shepherd, possibly full blooded. He is a rescued dog so we have no history on him, but he does appear to be close to full blooded GSD. Avis was just picked up as a stray dog by the local animal control officer. Avis has been with our rescue since just before Christmas, but he has already won everyone's heart. He is a gentle giant of a dog weighing in at 80 lbs. Beautiful black coat and winning personality. Avis is at least 5 years old, but is still a very active guy. He easily jumps into a car for a ride. He will lick your face to reward you or to just give you a kiss. He walks well on his leash and never meets a stranger. Avis has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, and had a very mild case of heart worms which he has been fully treated for. Going forward, he only requires his monthly preventative for fleas/ticks/parasites, and heart worms which he is currently receiving from us. Avis is ready to travel to his new forever home just in time for Valentine's Day. So if you have always wanted a German shepherd, now is your time to get one. We guarantee this guy will melt your heart.
