Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Found when he was just barely over a month old, sweet Kerfuffle was living all alone in frigid November conditions for at least two weeks. Luckily, his concerned finders were able to catch him and bring him to safety here at Tree House. When Kerfuffle came to us he was severely matted, full of fleas, had painful ulcers on his tongue, and was missing the majority one of his rear legs. When the end of his partial leg became infected, the decision was made to amputate the remainder of the leg. Our veterinarian is unsure if Kerfuffle was born with the deformity, or if the partially missing leg was the result of an early injury. Even though our precious, three-legged kittens reside on our special needs floor, they will likely never need long term medical treatment for their handicap. Three-legged cats play, wrestle, cuddle, and climb just like any other cat and seem not to notice that they are any different than their four-legged friends. Kerfuffle was born around October ninth, 2013.
