Julie's Story...
Hi my name is Julie. I am a 4 year old yellow labrador retriever mix who is looking for my forever home. I am not only a great looking girl but a great family dog, very well mannered, house trained crate trained and obedience trained. I know my obedience commands sit, down, stay come when called and even shake. I am a very smart girl who so loves being with my foster family but now it is time to find me a forever home.

Paws 4 Humanity Inc took me and 2 other dogs in from the Allen Babcock Rescue in Ft Lauderdale Florida, a rescue that has been around for 40 years when the president and founder was stricken with cancer and passed away earlier this month. The Babcock Rescue sent out a rescue alert and asked for help as they were boarding all of us in a boarding facility and facing large financial bills. Paws 4 Humanity Inc's president stepped up and took in three dogs - myself, anther great black lab mix named Layla and Simba a handsome Siberian Husky.

Things moved very quickly and the next thing you know we were all being transported up to Jacksonville Florida to meet our new foster families. I am being fostered by the president of Paws 4 Humanity Inc who simply adores me. I am a very well mannered girl and great companion with a sweet and loving personality that has so much love to give. I play well with other dogs, my foster mom has rescued 3 Golden Retrievers who I love to play with. I also really enjoy my one on one time with my foster mom.

If you are interested in meeting one of the sweetest and greatest yellow Labrador Retrievers on the planet, and a great looking girl if I say so myself - then I am your girl. What are you waiting for - please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot them an email request for an adoption application to which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet yours truly, the dog that truly represents the most popular breed in America - the Labrador Retriever with a wonderful personality who is so deserving of a fur ever home. I look forward to meeting you and showing you my shake and how I give great kisses where I will undoubtedly steal your heart so you can not help but want to take me home fur-ever. Love and kisses - Julie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julie, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
