BAXTER's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

BAXTER's Story...
BAXTER is approximately 15 months old (as of May 2014), neutered, microchipped and up-to-date with shots and weighs approximately 14 pounds. BAXTER came from the Ramona Shelter as a stray. The volunteers there fell in love with him so much, that they moved his kennel ID card around to give him more time. Unfortunately that wasn't enough, and he ended up on the euthanization list. The volunteers reached out to BFF K9 Rescue, and saved him at the last minute.

BAXTER's foster mommy says "BAXTER is an active little guy who loves to go for walks, run around at the dog park, or cuddle up next to you on the couch. BAXTER does great with other dogs, but also really loves to be around his people. He will follow you from room to room and wants to be included in day-to-day family life. The great thing about BAXTER is he loves to be active outside the house, but is very calm in the house. He usually just finds a spot on the couch or dog bed and plays with one of his doggy toys when I’m working. Baxter is housebroken but, like any dog, needs to be taken out regularly to avoid any accidents. We’re still working on not pulling, but he walks well on a leash.

If you’re looking for a dog companion that you can be active with but don’t want a big dog, BAXTER is the perfect companion for you. He can be a little timid meeting new people, but with proper introduction he warms up quickly. Every child he meets he’s always very friendly with and greets them with tail wags and kisses, but is not around them on a daily basis. BAXTER is such a sweet pup and has a great personality. He has the cutest little under bite that makes him even more adorable and unique looking. He’s so easy going in the home, but full of energy when you take him out for a walk or to the park to play fetch. He smiles all the time and when you’re hanging out on the couch, he’ll come up and nuzzle up against you and just look at you with adoring eyes."

We require an application, home check, contract, and adoption donation. BAXTER 's adoption donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BAXTER, a Salt Lake City Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
