My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAFE Class XVII is now in session. Seven shelter dogs are having the times of their lives, learning, playing, and receiving lots of TLC at WKCC (Western KY Correctional Complex). They will be crate trained, housetrained, able to walk on a loose leash, able to respond to commands, and they will learn some tricks to entertain and amaze. The dogs are spayed/neutered, on flea & tick and heartworm preventative, up to date on all vaccinations, and fully vetted. The adoption fee is $150.00 and you may request an application at safehavenky@gmail.com. The deadline for completing an application is March 10.
Trucker here! After I was on my own for awhile (yeah, I know, a stray---I don't like that word) and ending up at a shelter, a lady in town saw me in the newspaper and thought I would make a great SAFE dog. She pulled me out of the shelter and boarded me at a wonderful facility (K9 Inn, Lyon Co. KY) until a spot became available for me at SAFE. I hate to say it (kind of sounds like I'm bragging), but they really liked me there and taught me commands, so I am a little ahead of the other dogs in the class. I am one happy guy and I've never met a stranger. I do have some energy and love to fetch (that's another thing I'm really good at---oops, I'm bragging again). Trust me, you'll think I'm pretty special if you ever see me in person.
