My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy is a young Schnauzer/Terrier mix that is 3 years old and he is a very sweet boy.   He cares so much about pleasing and worries about it.  You can see it in his eyes. Percy came to us from a hoarding situation so living in a home is new to him, but he has made wonderful progress.  He loves to play and roll on his back and cuddle while having his tummy scratched. Percy is very smart and is learning to walk on the leash. He listens well and understands the word no.  He is quiet and does not bark much.  He also does well in the crate.  He is not disturbed at all by other dogs barking and other dogs close by.  Cats are a curiosity to him and he may bark at them and chase them but not aggressively, more like wanting to smell them and see if they are worthy of playing with. He likes his food and treats. He is not afraid of strangers. Percy takes care of his foster siblings and watches to make sure they are around and doing well.  He responds to being called and gazes into one's eyes as if trying to say something.  Percy is a very easy and trainable dog with the potential of being a truly great companion.
