My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is goofy Maxy! We were asked to rescue her from a shelter where she was very overwhelmed and frightened. As soon as Maxy got to her foster home, she became a different dog! Maxy is silly and goofy and super high energy. She just got spayed a couple of weeks ago so she's been cooped up, healing. No wonder she was a little bit hyper!

Now that she is ready, Maxy is really enjoying her play time with her buddy, Henry. She loves to play tug and stick keep-away and she'll chase the tennis ball. But she doesn't care quite as much as Henry does so she mostly lets him get the ball and she'll make a half-hearted attempt to take it away.

Maxy is about a year old and weighs about 50 lbs. She is still a little underweight from her time in the shelter but she is filling out and will probably put on another 5 lbs or so. She is a beautiful red-nosed girl with the cutest little wrinkly face.

Maxy is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and tested heart worm negative.

PLEASE CONTACT S_SMITH_POLO@YAHOO.COM to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
