My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippa is about 12 months old and weighs 14 lbs. She was found running homeless and starving in the midst of winter, one good Samaritan picked her up and gave her the chance she needed for a start to a better life. CCR stepped in, an she is medically all taken care of, spayed, up to date on shots and micro chipped and in a great foster home. Pippa was terribly underweight originally but now turned that all around and is the perfect size and weight for her stature. She has the most interesting eyes; warm brown eyes that are different colors, one is brown and one is hazelnut colored. Her favorite past time is laying on the bed looking out the window or on a dog bed on the front porch in the sun as it gets warmer. She loves to snuggle up to you at night or when watching TV. For activity, she loves a walk on the leash to discover new scents following her nose. She is able to hold her own in the pack of 4 big dogs and has the best time wrestling with the bigger foster dogs that come through her household. Housetraining is a bit hit and miss at the moment, perfect when you go with her but still needs a little encouragement to go out in the cold. This little free spirit does not like to be locked up ever. Not in a room or in a crate. She needs a fenced in yard with no big holes or gaps by the gate. We don't want her to ever get lost again.
