Lizzie's Story...
Hi, I’m Lizzie.

I'm a little Schnauzer girl - only weigh 14 pounds. I’m 6 years old (or so they say) but if you ask my foster mom, some days I’m a puppy and some days I like to just sleep. You see, my life hasn’t always been chew toys and long walks… I was turned over to SRC when my owner died, I had been used to breed.

I didn’t even know what the outdoors was. Proud to say I have it down pat now! I love to walk (I’ve even learned what a leash was!), I’m potty trained, I’ve even learned to walk up and down stairs, and eat -- yes it sounds silly, but I didn’t eat very much before coming to SRC!

I’m becoming the best dog I can! I get along great with my foster sister (she’s been showing me how dogs live) and the cat that’s in the house. I’ll be your best friend if you love me. Please, please love me… that’s all that’s missing in my life, and I’ll bet I’m missing from yours!

**Lizzie would do best in a home with little noise as noises still frighten her a bit.

Lizzie is fostered by Kaci in Cincinnati OH. Her adoption fee is only $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzie, a Sharonville Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Sharonville, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Sharonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sharonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sharonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sharonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
