My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** We receive many adoption applications for puppies. We always look for the best possible match for the dog and put the dog's needs before the adopter's preferences. If you apply for a certain dog but we feel a different applicant's home is best suited for that dog this doesn't mean you wouldn't provide a loving forever home for a rescued dog. We are happy to work with you to find a great dog that will better suit you and your situation. Our volunteers can still perform your home check and if approved you will be considered pre-approved and the next dog that that matches your situation can be placed with you immediately. **

Please note - We are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time or can take a dog to the office.

Meet sweet sweet sweet SuzieQ!

This darling girl was rescued from Mexico by one of our partners there and has made the trip to Vancouver. We don't actually know what breed(s) make up Suzie. She is 100% Mexican Mutt but we think she is most likely a Basset Hound X as she has a long body, short legs, and the hound bay.

SuzieQ has been vet checked and is completely healthy, dewormed, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She is still at the age where socialization is very important and that needs to continue in her adoptive home. Suzie already knows sit and to bring her food dish to her foster mom when she is hungry!
