Melina's Story...
Please meet our beautiful girl Melinna. She is a loving girl approx. 4-4 12 years old. She is friendly, outgoing, she loves to play with other dogs and may make a great new friend for your dog (we do the dog introductions here at our shelter). She's a love bug and sometimes also thinks she is a lap dog. The best home for her will be in one with older kids and where her new family will play with her daily. She knows sit and will be a great new family pet so please stop in soon to spend some quality time getting to know her; you'll love her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melina, a Voorhees Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Voorhees, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Voorhees.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Voorhees already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Voorhees breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Voorhees paves the way for another one to be saved.
