Bits: 1- 2 yr old, red female, natural ears, docked tail, 12" 9 lbs, spayed, vaccines up to date, micro-chipped, rescued from shelter.
Bits came to us as a shy, fearful girl. We rescued her from the shelter as she was in danger of being euthanized until we came to her rescue. You would not know that judging by her devotion to her foster mom, her activity and abilities when engaging in play. Bits will always be a bit shy when meeting new people, but will warm up to you. She is very cautious in selecting her person who can make her feel confident. Her trust for humans was broken when she was dumped on the streets and left behind to fend for herself on a bum leg by her previous owners, so please be patient with her. She is very social with other playful dogs and does not mind larger dogs. Bits truly does want to be your friend and cuddly girl, so give her patience, love, affection, understanding and she will be yours forever
Bits is just like any other normal engaging minpin puppy who loves to play and run around throwing her toys in the air then looking for them when they land, sort of like hide-n-seek! She is so cute when she gets that look as if she wants you to help her find them. She also enjoys a nice warm lap to rest and cuddle in when she has exerted her energy. Bits is still learning what sharing the lap means and will need consistent reminders in her new forever home, since she's been an only child for quite some time. Bits loves going for walks and needs work on the leash. She doesn't mind sleeping in a crate if she must, but would much prefer sleeping in your bed when she is ready and confident that you will be hers. She is fully doggy door trained as well as potty pads indoors.
Her foster moms says " that I am smart and curious and I am sure if you wanted to train me to do new things, I would love to make you happy and could learn to do just about anything." "Sometimes I can't always jump up into your lap because I tend to be cautious and will need a hand from time to time, so I will lean on your leg so you can pull me up! I am a sweet lover girl who just wants her second chance at a good life and to be worshiped by my new family to live a life of happiness and love with lots of cuddles and kisses and kindness."
Bits may not do well with younger children and will thrive in a home who already has a dog or two for a playmate or companion.

IMPS is a non-profit rescue organization that does not have a viewing facility to which you can come and meet the dogs available for adoption. All of our MinPins are in loving homes in foster care. Arrangements can be made with the foster parent; however, it is a requirements that the Adoption Application be completed and approved first.
