Romeo's Story...
NOW taking applications!

This is Romeo who is full of love and kisses and is part of a litter of 5! Mother is a medium size Lab mix and father is unknown but due to the ticking markings on all the pups we think they are either mixed with Border Collie and/or Spaniel so therefore we are unsure what the size will be of these pups! The pups were born on December 5th, so as of January 30th they are 8 weeks old. Pups have been seen by a vet for an exam, have been dewormed, and also received the appropriate age vaccinations. All pups are healthy, good weights, and have outgoing social personalities. Puppies have been potty trained to paper/puppy pads only as the temperatures have been way too cold for them to go outside and we do not want them to develop upper respiratory infections.

Romeo has an outgoing personality, loves to play with toys, and loves to play with his siblings. Romeo loves to follow you around and watch everything you do, he is very curious but appears to show loyalty. He is the foster "favorite"! He also loves to cuddle and have belly rubs!

Our adoption fee for canines is $175 and due to the age of the puppies, there will be a spay/neuter contract. The adopter will have until 6 months of age (June) to have the puppy sterilized and once proof has been provided $50 will be refunded or the adopter will also have the option to receive a $80 gift certificate from All About Animals for a low cost spay/neuter surgery opposed to the $50 refund.
If you work full time hours, then arrangements will have to be made to have potty breaks during the day as the puppies are too young to be left alone for long periods of time. This will help with house and crate training.

If interested in adopting, please email us at LapeersAdoptables@yahoo.com for an application. An application will need to be submitted for review and approved prior to setting up any meet and greets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Hadley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hadley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hadley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hadley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hadley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hadley paves the way for another one to be saved.
