Jack's Story...
Jack, Jack, the joyful puppy!

Jack is a sweet young pup who loves people – especially when they’re
giving him belly rubs! He looks forward to taking walks and is very
curious. In the house, he likes to follow you around, unless it’s nap
time. (You’ll know it’s nap time when you hear him snore!) He would
prefer to snuggle with you when napping, but is OK on his own too.

He’s very well behaved, potty trained, and knows some basic commands.
He’s gentle when taking treats. He seems to be fine around cats, he just
ignores them.

Jack is a 5 months old pit bull, male, and is scheduled to be neutered
soon. He will be available for adoption shortly after that. Please
research the breed and be aware of the special needs of this wonderful,
loving dog. We prefer to place Jack with a family where he will be the
only dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Portland American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
