Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Tanner. I am about two and a half years old, so fully grown at 25lbs. I was dumped at an overcrowded shelter- glad my foster parents saw me and took me into their rescue. Phew, saved in the nick of time!
I love hanging out with my people, and happily cuddle in their laps. I am through the puppy stage so I won't be chewing your furniture or eating things I shouldn't. I am housebroken, and crate trained. I am active so I would love my fur-ever home to have older children to play with in a well fenced yard.
My foster mom says I seem to know “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “drop it” but I don't always obey come. I am working on this as she gives me praise and a treat when I do (I like that). I also walk well on a leash but if I see another dog, I will growl as I think I need to protect you. My bark is there but there is no bite. Mom says I am not yappy so I think that is a good thing. I am now trained on a PetSafe radio fence. I get along OK with female dogs, and may do well with another male if properly introduced.
Cats are for chasing, never caught one but Mom says I won't do well with them.
I am neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative, I get preventatives so I won't get fleas, ticks, or any worms.
