My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hannah came into rescue with a few strikes against her. She had mammary tumors, a serious cherry eye (inflamed third eye lid), and a couple of old 'hit and run driver' injuries to her hips and lower spine. And her teeth needed a serious cleaning. But with the excellent care provided by our ace veterinary team, Hannah has overcome it all and is ready to hit a HOME RUN out of Autozone Park!

As you can see, her eye has healed with nary a trace. And a new fangled supplement has made her old injuries just faint memories. She will need to take Revacan for the rest of her life, but it is a natural supplement that is not expensive and really has improved her mobility. Oh, and those mammary tumors? BENIGN....she has a completely clean bill of health. And now she is ready to love you as on a REAL GOOD DOG can....with all her heart.

Hannah is about 8 years old. She is medium active and if there are squirrels or birds in the yard, very hard to convince to come inside....even if it is FREEZING outside. She is perfectly housetrained. She has no problem asserting her queenliness, especially at feeding time, so you will need to make sure she has her own spot to enjoy dinner in peace. Hannah is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventives for heartworms and fleas.

Hannah's best home will be one where there is a secure fence to keep her safe. An solid history of excellent vet care for current or previous pets is a must to ensure Hannah's health remains well cared for. Her adoptive family will have to commit to not only keeping her on heartworm and flea prevention for the rest of her life, but also to keep her on the Revacan that is crucial to her physical comfort.

Hannah walks well on lead and would love to take walks in the brisk air.

Hannah's adoption fee is $150, but know that you will be getting a priceless addition to your family if you open your hearts and home to this pretty spaniel girl.
