Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Maisie and I’m a 16-month-old female mutt. Sadly my owner fell in love with me when I was a puppy and she was 69. Although I’m not a big girl and am about 30 lbs, I’m still very strong and playful and just too much for her to handle. I’m a really great dog that is growing out of puppy stages but should still be confined to my space. I do great in a crate and have no accidents. I am great on recall but have some trigger points that need a lot of work. I do good with other dogs and people but am protective of my home environment with strangers. I need someone who owns their own home or is in a secure rental situation. You need to be dog savvy and able to be a strong leader of the pack. I am still a puppy and need someone who is going to put time into dog training as my past owner has been doing. This will continue to make me the best dog that I can be. I’d be best with an older family. Although I have a lot of energy, I need an active family with a non-active household or a family that knows to crate me if there is a lot of action going on in the home.
