My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GUS is an awesome dog who loves to cuddle, lay around, and relax.

He enjoys walks and car rides as well, but he gets pretty excited and worked up about it, and does pull hard on the leash. He may be easy to correct with good training though, as he is very food and attention driven. Gus can safely be left in the house unattended as he has good manners and is pretty much a couch potato.

Gus is excellent with people, and seems to love kids, but kids over 12 would be necessary so they understand to respect certain parts of his body, like his eyes and paws. Gus did have entropian surgery in the past, so his eyes do get sensitive and he has some early arthritis. Gus seems to get along better with female dogs (he lives with two).

We don't know an exact age on Gus, the vet predicts he is probably somewhere around 7-8ish perhaps, but he seems like an old-soul. He is about 60 pounds.

Gus is a very loving dog, who is so handsome and sweet, and he brings a smile to the face of everyone he meets! Gus needs a foster or adoptive home asap as there are changes coming in the family situation where he lives.
