Angus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Angus's Story...
This beautiful sweet boy was so afraid while at the high kill shelter that they were about to kill him. I could not let that happen. He does not have a mean bone in his body, he is just very nervous about new people. If you give him 5 minutes of soft speaking and a treat, he is yours. He is about 4 or 5 years old and appears to be very healthy. We have neutered him, vaccinated him and he tested negative for heartworms. He is now on HW and flea prevention and ready for his new home. He would love a home with maybe some empty nesters that like big dogs to just hang out. He is calm and easy going and would love to go for walks and he appears to be housetrained. If you would like to give this sweet, handsome boy the forever home that he deserves please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or onemorelastchancerescue@hotmail.com for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Allentown Border Collie/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Collie for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Border Collie/Collie dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Collie breeders who help with Border Collie/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
