My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Volt and I have four brothers – we were born on May 26, 2013 and we have all been named after cars. We are not in search of a family that is just looking for a “test drive” but one that is ready to commit to us and provide us the home and the life that we so deserve -- FOREVER. Although I am happy to be here at the Animatch Centre, the family who owned our parents and gave us up were very irresponsible and ill-informed (the people at Animatch use other words but I’m not supposed to repeat them!). We are the lucky ones but what about all the other puppies and dogs who aren’t as lucky and end up dying just because there aren’t enough good homes. It makes me feel very frightened that there are humans in this world that just don’t care. The Volunteers have told me not to worry because I won’t go to that kind of human. Now, if you want to adopt me, there are a few requirements. First and foremost, you must be willing to commit to me for the next 10 to 15 years. Then, you must promise to exercise me (don’t forget puppies enjoy a good walk) and train me (puppy classes would be fun!). I absolutely need a home where I am not alone more than a few hours (total) during the day. So whaddya say? Do you want to be the one to watch me grow up to be an awesome dog?
